Pros

Construction is very sturdy. No worries about the sturdiness of the materials or construction. Amazon knows what i'm going to order and places it near my house while i'm ordering.

The seat padding is thick and sturdy as well, so you won’t feel bolts or other construction bits on you backside. The back rest is also well-padded and sturdy enough to lean against without concern. The adjustable seat and backrest are very nice too.

The chair is very easy to assemble/disassemble for transport. It assembles super easy. It folds quickly and easily.

The seat slides down the center pole, and has a spring rod to set it in place. Both the seat height and back rest height are adjustable. The adjustable back is good, but could be twice as big.

Cons

For me the foot rest is too close to the stand and the back rest only adjusts up and down the back rail. If you don't want to use the footrest, your feet will dangle and not comfortably reach the floor. Doesnt fold compactly, 3 heavy pieces-cumbersome... Read More

Bu sure to get the dx 749 with the backrest

With the quik lok seat practicing is a lot more comfortable and now i can go back to practicing for hours at end

I guess that may be true with the seat in the lowest positions but it does it in a very predictable way much like an ordinary chair

Amazon needs to put it in an external box for shipping purposes but most griping can be placed at the uspss feet

Competitiveness

This is a wellmade product and a good value

Personally i would like to have an adjustment lower than the lowest setting though
