I am sure that i am a bit behind the eight ball on this and quite a few other people know that the cable itself doesnt make something charge fast but i thought it would be good to add in here for the other individuals like myself who were blissfully unaware i receive this item at a discount for my honest review of the product

Ive tried quite a few thirdparty smart chargerswall adapters for charging my galaxy note 5 and this is one of only 2 that actually supports samsungs adaptive fast charge feature

Additionally it has a more stablesnug fit in the outlet than samsungs adapter if that makes sense which makes it much less prone to pulled out of the outlet when the cable is accidentally tugged a bit or if you have it plugged into a surge protector that gets moved at all which is really nice because that is one of the more annoying aspects of samsungs oddlyshaped adapter
