Hes learning about how far he can run before the line runs out and usually slows down just in time but not always and the retract mechanism has held up just fine with the abuse

I guess that says its a good leash since i didnt even think about finding a different leash

If i had a complaint it would be that its very hard to push the button down to stop releasing more leash without locking it

Nearly any depression on the button will lock it and if your dog is like mine they immediately start running back to you and you have to quickly unlock it to keep it from getting all tangled around the dog
