Pros

The q-up comes with a u-shaped piece of plastic that it slides into at different height levels. Only thing i am not impressed is the quality of plastic used to make it. Yes looks cheaply made, but what it does is great.

It really pops my tone arm up and makes it bounce back towards the arm rest. Lateral adjustments are very easy to make. Front button adjusts trigger too.

Cons

I like the idea, but unfortunately it will not work with music hall 5. I have a project 1xpression carbon classic and the qup is unfortunately incompatible with this turntable. It was difficult to fit to my table due to it's size and shape.

The price is outrageous for such a cheaply made piece of plastic. It's also super cheaply made of plastic and feels like it's going to break. This is like backstage buck rodgers stuff.

The description is created very unprofessional. This product ranks as one of the most cynical rip-offs i have run into in all my years of working on hi-fi equipment.

Takes a long time to adjust it for best fit between long and short run outs but overall i’m pleased with the results

Luckily it took about ten minutes of drinking beer and fiddling to setup the q up

Honestly after reading so many complaints in the reviews i was expecting a worse product

I am giving this five stars because it does exactly what i needed it to do and the price was right got mine for 35

Price feels a touch high but it does come with a good bit of adjustability

Packaging/appearance

I was not able to preview other users that have my tt first prior to purchasing the qup tonearm lifter to get tips

I had mine on and working in 10min but wondered why it kept “launching” the tonearm too high

Competitiveness

There are a lot of complaints about the price of this item but compared to the competition it is a pretty good deal

I wish so much something as this was invented 35 years ago with all my college roommates and their ttable tonearm setups

I wish it would say it doesnt work on audiotechnica turntables

If you’ve looked at any other model of tone arm lifter they are 23 times the price
