Construction seems to have gone downhill since then. The issue is that with large aquarium you have to take it out to go over the slat on top where the glass sets and doing this it looses suctioning.

    While i really like the python gravel vacuum set up there are two issues that i dont like

    The suction despite very strong water pressure going through at the faucet end is slow

    It lifts the dirt up quickly but it tends to hover a few inches up and takes forever to go up the tube

    The water flow is fast i have to rush and tend to only get about 1413 of the tanks gravel done before ive already emptied about half the tank

    Ideally id rather do 10 water changes biweekly but thats not going to happen
