Sound quality is excellent for a product in this price range
Sound quality is average but they actually stay in my ear the inear version through and entire vigorous swim
Sound quality ok but during swimming it does not get perfect anyway
Id pay more for higher quality waterproof ear buds but this style is the only one that stays in my ear

I do not use these for swimming and i can see why folks that do would give them poor reviews

If you truly want them waterproof you have to use the included cone shaped ear pieces that go into your ear canal which i use daily at the gym

I believe if you submerged the headphones underwater outside of you ear letting the liquid enter the speaker they would fail

However because the cone shaped earpieces are water tight while in your ears they prevent water from getting into the speaker area of the headphones

Good ribbed ear buds that provide a strong seal with the right rubber seal from among three size choices

Once the seal is broken while youre in the water the transducer is wetted and the sound is muffled until they are completely dried

I have not found this a big deal as i can grab the rubber seal by its back plug and pull it out but beware
