Pros
Pyle turntable preamp is a great alternative to a phono stage in any receiver. The additional stereo jack is a nice feature. The sound quality is great, there is no unwanted noise.
Great at the cottage, backyard or deck, as long as it's protected from water. Easy to install.
Cons
Preamp works but has a severe 60 hz hum. I have a quality turntable and cartridge so it's not my equipment. Tried with multiple cables and new cables and still getting scratchy spotty or no sound from speakers.
Very cheaply made item. What a scam. This is getting shipped back asap.

Well i was hopeful that it would work as i needed a pre amp for the lps but sadly it does not so went down town and into hifi store and bought a 551p mm phono pre amplifier it works great i guess you get what you pay for
