Pros
This stereo is made of the finest, most lightweight plastic china has to offer. The rewind is a little slow for a reason as this prevents tape stretch or breakage.
After several months of using this deck hard, it works flawlessly. Bang your head for the buck. It works, is cheap, and does most of what it's advertised to do.
After buying 2 decks that were used and were worn out despite the seller's claims i saw and bought this at least it's new. Mine arrived mostly intact, however, there is a gap with the b tape door.
Cons
It is almost as though there is an internal timer to blow it out after 90 days. Obviously a disappointing licensing. Best bet is to toss the cassette in the trash and don't look back.
It does play some cassettes well enough to digitize - you need to boost the volume once you've recorded them into your software - but it will not play longer cassettes. The * are hard to push, there is a counter for only the record deck, etc. You have... Read More

The tape door opens ridiculously slowly. The tape drags. At the point the player hangs up, the tape spins freely.

Rest assured you tape is being played using only the finest gears and rubber bands that in the event of breaking are 100 completely disposable so you can easily just buy a whole new stereo instead
