You really shouldn’t make a habit of drinking distilled water, its of no nutritional value without the minerals, its just wet.

If you want purified but still minerilzed water just get a ‘brita water filter’ or make your own active carbon filter with charcoal and calcium chloride, and use pre-boiled water, not distilled water.

Wasn't entirely sure what i was getting myself into with carnivorous plants, but they don't like tap water.

You plug it in, add water, place the collecting jug and switch it on - when it's finished it turns itself off.

Only one poor thing is: at the end of the process when distiller runs out of water the remaining lime is usually burnt and gives unpleasant smell.

This can be easy removed with vinegar, anyway its a nuisance.

The distiller is let down by the plastic container provided which taints the water even after cleaning and several uses.

Not sure what plastic has been used but would not trust it for holding water you wish to drink.
