The recipes varied from basic to quite advanced, and taught a variety of layering, swirling and other techniques. Tons of i fo.

Explanations are clear and concise. There are also sidebar boxes with information that is really helpful. The information is pertinent and sensible.

Cons

The everything soapmaking book by alicia grosso is so much better. Recipes are overcomplicated with hard to find, expensive ingredients & needing various types of molds. Most recipes use palm oil which is horrible for many reasons.

Internal of cover is rimmed with a brown stain from corner to corner. It’s a shame.
