Pros

The only con is that it is a bit tacky after application. Yeah, shipping is slow. I'm doing this in case it helps someone else who’s struggling like i have been.

It has the look and almost the thickness of vaseline. Overall, the greasy feeling is preferable to the scaly bleeding sores that i had before. All i can say is that i'm looking cute in sandals again!

This is the first and only product that actually helps! It seems to heal my skin while also stopping the spreading. Amp; it definitely keeps scales from forming.

Cosalic ointment from salve has a 6% coal tar formula plus 3% salcylic acid. Ingredients, coal tar and salicylic acid, are the best otc medications for psoriasis.

Cons

Coal tar is a thick, dark yellow, odorous substance. However, this feels like just a thick petroleum jelly and does not seem to do anything for the itch or the rash.

Use of polysorbate 80 is both irresponsible, and unacceptable. The jar also says it’s for hospital use, which makes me wonder how the sellers came to have it. The label states for the use only of a registered medical practitioner or hospital.

The label says it's 6% coal tar solution. Alternative ingredients are readily available. My aged mother says it does nothing.
