Unfortunately the seller hasn’t answered my question on this so all i can assume is that it’s a poor quality product and this performance is normal

When the controllers are charging the base will light up red

My only negative is that the lead that plug into the usb on the console could be a bit longer based on where we keep ours but it was nothing a bit of rearrangement couldnt fix

Charging ports were too low to even charge the battery packs so it is immediately useless

It arrived to be fair the quality wasnt as bad as some had said

Now while placing the controller into the dock the pretty blue light changed to red
