Im not even sure the enclosures screw holes line up correctly with the standard hdd mounting holes on the thin sides of all hdds

My external hard drive case cracked in moving

When i inserted the drive secured it and plugged in the face plate the fit was off by about 2mm

I tried applying a bit of judicious force to get the face plate to fit but no luck

I ended up taking out the front two mounting screws to lower the drive and barely managed to get everything to fit properly
