A small, continuous load would cause it to overheat. Power shorted to ground internally and fried it. The breaker was bad and not putting out 50 amp.

There needs to be a redesign to allow more room for the coils. The inductive coil is supposed to be marked with an arrow for direction for installation. They at least are honest about their product, with a policy of replacing the surge board free once... Read More

This model has water intrusion issues but cannot do anything to fix it. Opened it up, no moisture but also no fusing for surge protection--just a through buss connector.
