On the negative shoddy construction. It is very disappointing.
They offer a lifetime warranty and it says to call them for warranty. The lifetime warranty is apparently very limited, as in we don't warranty anything. They know most people won't have their receipt years later.

Make sure that you have the polarity correct before you hook up it or else youll have to take the whole thing out and put it back in

Since i was curious about the surge protector i took it apart

It turns out there was a leak around where the plug entered the cover that allowed water to enter

So i dried out the circuit board and reassembled it

Tip tighten the nut that compresses the gasket that seals the cord where it enters the box
