Pros & Cons

Pros

Good product at very competitive price and promptly delivered. The replacement (pt30x) has more improvements than the original pt30c. New unit has better design with rain cover so obviously others must have experienced similar problems.

Good insurance for electrical system. Peace of mind on campground power. Neighbor at campground has same one. Though this ems device is a tad pricey, i find it cheap insurance to protect all the electrical equipment and appliances inside my trailer.

It monitors the current and voltage and lets you test what different appliances pull in realtime and error codes. When it detects a problem (like low voltage), it isolates the rv, then when power comes back into spec, it restores power.
