The book itself is printed very nicely, especially considering the size of the text block. Bought for less than barnes and nobles' price, my 19 year old son is able to use the book rather than have it sit on a shelf.

Although the book starts benignly enough, you quickly realize, it's extremely verbose. The book is presented in a very disjointed and non-intuitive way.

In short, this book is a jumbled mess. This book is too wordy and too voluminous.

Asking someone to proofread a paper in french is pointless if they don't know french. Not for beginners uses his own header file that has issues. Uses verbose language not suitable for beginners.

The book starts pummeling you with never before shown or seen function calls and terminology that's not explained at all. The entire first 2 chapters have zero instruction on programming. There is no way of knowing what a ta is.
