Pros

After owning this tool ill never use anything else again. It works best if you use the lock nut above the foot. The only downside is the tool doesn't compress the springs in a straight line.

Very easy to use and does the job quickly, easily and safely. Works much better than the twist style! Worked extremely nice for my sbc heads.

Center shaft has two ends threaded differently for the two supported rocker stud sizes2. Use the threaded foot to get it just right. Rap the retainer hard several times with a hammer to break the stuck retainer and keepers free. Make sure to have a ma...  Read More

Good product. Well constructed. Can’t beat the price.

Cons

Tool needs to be beefed up where the handle is attached. Could not generate enough leverage to compress the dual springs with the supplied handle. Far from universal, and unusable for me. Execution is poor.

Quality

Functions as expected and material quality is good

Very good quality and easy to use

I did this on an engine stand with the heads mounted on the engine

They should offer a flat fork version of this tool or include one with the original style

Price

Given the precision with my afr 165cc 1402 heads and the price i must do precision as well

Packaging/appearance

If you have access to a welder just get the threaded bolts that will thread into the the rocker stud hole and the tool

To do so you have to disassemble the entire tool and flip the part that threads into the push in studs then reassemble

Competitiveness

This compressor worked great and was much safer to use than the models that can slip off of the spring

Im a big dude and springs over 400lbs compressed was a challenge not anymore

There was a minor misalignment of the surfaces that compress the spring resulting in a tilting of the spring as it was compressed
