I've purchased several Luna Ukeleles for grandkids, that priced at around $100, and then this one for $35. They are pretty comparable, except that this one has sharp fret ends. I spent a minute with an emory board (all guitarists have emory boards for nails) to smooth/polish the end. It took 3-4 strokes per fret end. All is well now. Sounds good, very good action right out of the box. Intonation pretty close... good enough!This would be a satisfactory first uke. Better than a toy. Not a pro instrument, but ok for hobby level. My first impression is very positive.I own many instruments, and have played guitar since 1968. I also teach guitar.  Read Less
