I havd a parrot and if new parrot food isnt put in the freezer right away for at least 24 hours it quickly creates a pantry moth problem on top of seasonal issues with them from living in the country

I needed help asap because the weather warmed and it just took one bag of food not getting the freezer treatment to suddenly fill the air with these pests at night that required more than a fly swatter and dried bay leaves in cabinets to control

These were one of a few though higger recommended traps seen during internet searches and so i ordered this pack

I put the plastic pull off protective covers in zippy bags because the moths caught wind of pheromone residue and discarded the bag in an outside waste bin

These traps are small triangles and cardboard is loaded from side to side with sticky glue and pheromone

For heavy infestations it make take a few days to trap all moths and important to discard full or nearly full trap as moths have powder like substance on their wings and this will coat the sticky area trying to free themselves

I did not have high expectations for this product as weve been plagued with pantry moths for several years and several different kill approaches have not been very effective including cleaning swatting with fly swatter chase and snatch in the hand and smash with finger napkin or cloth while they apparently sleep within several minutes of opening the cardboard box that these arrived in moths were fluttering around and landing on the box and the plastic baggie that they were shipped in

After i folded the trap and set it out moths were stuck within the first hour
