Its a large item so i would suggest taking it to a laundromat with oversized washers rather than taking the chance on damaging it in a home washing machine

The king size comes with king sized pillow shams so those go in back with the navy regular sized shams in front

It fits perfectly into my whirlpool cabrio washer and dryer the washer does not have a center agitator

It does have some weight to it not as much as a full quilt but about the same as a duvet
