Packaging/appearance
The nonstick coating was failing so we just upgraded to this new one with ceramic coating
No need to use oil and never use nonstick spray or you will destroy the coating
Competitiveness
Overall a great waffle maker and excellent value
Hope this one lasts decades like the former model

I observed when using it you need to immediately rotate the waffle iron after closing the lid this was it clearly mentioned in the instruction manual

This machine does not have temperature control which is a little disappointing

The stand up to store feature is good but the red clip that stands it is kinda flimsy plastic so im hoping it will last as long as the machine
