    Theres not really much tactical information included in the book and the section on home fortification is woefully inadequate

    That being said i dont believe the author intended this book to be a tactical manual or a field guide to perimeter and physical security so i think it would be unfair to judge this book by that measure

    The fact is most martial arts weapons are useless for selfdefense and not just impractical to carry as the author states

    Not that a good stave or short stick cant be used effectively for selfdefense its just that some of the weapons listed in the book are ridiculous options for selfprotection purposes
