First, this kit has everything you need to carry out a screen replacement on your iPhone 8+. The only thing you'll need is a heat gun or hairdryer to soften the sealant when separating the screen, home button, and camera/speaker.The instruction booklet is comprehensive, but is much more effective when you couple it with a youtube video or two for the screen replacement. Screw placement is extremely important as the difference between a 1.3mm and 1.4mm screw is a challenge! To that end I recommend searching for instructions online that detail what screws go where. Also, when you take the screws out, make sure to place them on a 'screw map' that you can hand-draw yourself. This way the right screw goes back in the right place and you're not left guessing which screw is the 1.2mm and which is the 1.0mm.The screen protector that comes with the kit is not very flexible, but goes down flawlessly if you cleaned off your new screen thoroughly. It also looks quite good and so far seems to work well.Before applying the waterproofing seals (in the blue plastic sheets), make sure to clean the phone surfaces and take your time getting the right alignment. Once you press down on the plastic applicator, it's difficult to get the adhesive off without tearing it.Overall, if you're even remotely technologically inclined, can go slow, be gentle, and follow instructions closely, this kit is well worth the less than CA$50 to get rid of that nasty broken screen you might have going on.  Read Less
