There are holes in the bottom to let water or moisture out so the food doesnt mold most products dont have that great feature

If the suction cups seem to pop off get them wet and stick them while they are wet you will get better suction

I live in michigan and the last window feeder stayed stuck for 4 years and never fell off

The feeder is a little deep but the birds dont seem to mind
