Im sure it gets pee on it also and then you have to touch it to change batteries etc so not very sanitary

I noticed that the battery contacts on the unit did not protrude far enough to contact one or more of the positive battery terminals the bump side

I am impressed with the battery saving features namely only working in the dark and also turning off in a couple minutes when there is no motion at the sensor
