I expect this ice cream maker to outlive me. It is expensive (and a bit noisy), but it is likely something you will be able to pass on to your children. Makes great ice cream.

The insulated bucket is really nice, and does not leak or shrink up like the white mountain. It also keeps the ice cream a lot colder. The locking mechanism is easy to use.
