We also have a fold up lego table but it never worked for the duplo people or animals just the square bricks

Portable works well with lego bricksneed to build on a hardflat surface as it is not stable on carpet

This works perfectly and because its rubber it wont scratch the wood floors or the surface of the table

It was very hard to find a base for duplo and then to find something that would work for both duplo and regular lego seemed to good to be true

See the attached picture for examples the ones on the left stayed put the ones on the right were coming off or falling over
