Unfortunately the outer layer is not heat resistant at least to the claimed 932 f degrees and after using it for a few months there are already holes in the fabric

It didnt burn me but i think the silicone oven mitt would do a better job if i needed to hold it a lot longer like if i had to pour hot oiljuices from the griddle after bbqing some food

This note at the very bottom of the description should actually be at the toparmorgloves are not waterproof so should not be used for handling hot liquids
