Gently remove the old battery and unplug connection cable between the battery and the macbook. I would recommend it to others without hesitation.
Cons
The moment i pull the wall charger the macbook goes off. Fully charged battery lasts only 2 and half hours like my 5 yrs old battery.

Thats a really bad sign — batteries swell when something is severely amiss in their chemistry and its smart to dispose of them as quickly as possible if that happens

Installation was no harder than i unscrewing the ten screws on the bottom of the case be very careful though all but two of these things are absolutely tiny though luckily the supplied screwdrivers are magnetic ii lifting that cover off iii unscrewing five screws that hold the battery in two tiny three longer iv lifting it out and disconnecting a cable that goes from the battery which just meant using my fingernails and pulling it and v doing all that in reverse with the new battery

So it was maybe a tenminute job even with no prior experience whatsoever

It also seemed to be 68 charged when first connected so i could even have tested it without putting all the screws back in

So bottom line if you know just barely enough to be able to use a screwdriver then youre sufficiently qualified to install this battery and the battery reports itself as new stock of the proper capacity
