Not suitable for our system although the company were very helpful the bulbs had to be returned with regret

Bought this bulb to see if it could adequately replace ordinary 60w bulbs and be dimmable

It dims reasonably well even with a standard dimmer switch and i certainly did not get any buzzing

The look of the bulb when lit may take a bit of getting used to as only the top half lights up obviously not a problem if you are using a shade but might be an issue if using in traditional candle fashion

But then there doesnt seem to be an led alternative unless you go for something like the phillips clear led candle bulb which may or may not suit your particular situation

Dimming control doesnt flicker and no replacement of dimmer switchcontrol needed
