The microphone is not very sensitive i had to have the unit about 2 feet from my mouth and speaking loudly in order to be clearly understood but it does work

I found it easier to simply turn off the bluetooth mic function at my phone and use it as a speaker phone instead

As with all things that claim to be waterproof it isnt something i really want to ever test purposely

Reading through the instructions that were provided in the box it says the item is weatherproof and do not expose this product to water or other liquids
