I live in a boston suburb a few towns away from the protagonist in the story i really enjoyed the geographical descriptions as i could picture where they were as the story unfolded

Anyone who isnt ready to be completely cutoff from their normal source of food and other necessities for at least a couple of weeks and better a couple of months just isnt properly looking out for their family

Actually the protagonist is just a plain ordinary guy that has done some prepping

What i loved best about this book were the ordinary people not super preppers who suddenly were in the midst of the shtf
