These work well for the most part but sometimes the extender tube being round allows the wire to slip to the side causing an off center piercing sometimes not even making contact with the inside wires

The down side was that even with the adapter i had to purchase a male to female extension cable set before i could use it

These are not simple to use but they do the job that is nearly impossible with most dc testers

I too do not understand why power probe used male “banana” terminals for the lead connections in these thus requiring the use of the included clunky gender changer
