    This model does not have the frequency scale button so my assumption is that it uses the frequency passed in and does not auto adjust to the component you want to view the picture from

    The reason i bought this unit was because my hdmi input on my plazma tv went out and the samsung j5500w home theater only has hdmi output

    I am assuming that since the portta is the device detected by my bluray player it was sending the signal out at 1080p
