I rated this product based on my experience with the product and how well it met my performance expectations for its price range
The remote uses a separate ir sensor that is not integrated with the switch and is rather awkward though i have had no need of it so far
Loses a star as it did not have the ir module as in the picture and the remote is cheap quality pretty sure will break pretty soon
I am happy with the price and the switch however the remote will not work without the ac adapter

We have an older tv so we used it to have our hard drive hub fire stick and chromecast all plugged in at the same time

It is so tiny it can be hidden well anywhere so you dont have all your cables showing
