Edit after a bit of use we have noticed that the battery can jump off the contacts if the scooter goes over bumps

The battery is big and heavy and just sits on top of the contacts so a big bump can move it enough to stop the scooter working

I ordered my scooter on sunday morning received a phone call from the supplier on sunday lunchtime to ask my medical condition for vat relief and the scooter was delivered on tuesday morning
