Pros

It is easy to use and elininates all but the finest silt. They're a little pricey but still cheaper that replacing the entire thing so that's the route i'm going. Very sturdy and quality design.

The polaris spa vac is fine for small spas or hot tubes. It grabs all the sand and dirt from the bottom of our hot tub with ease! Pump the handle gently sweeping past the debris in my attached pool spa.

The suction is good. Picks up most fine (but not minute) particles, as well as, bugs and small pieces of grass and foliage. The problem can be solved by permanently gluing the bladder in place.

Cons

Had a hole in the mesh filter after just two uses. Poor suction. Once you stop pumping, it loses whatever suction you've generated and drops the debris back into the water.
