Detail is great, some minor seam filling required.
Cons
The build quality of this kit is simply terrible. Same old * enterprise kit with lame pylons for warp nacelles.
The saucer keeps popping off and the decals are horrible. The instructions aren’t great and there are alternate versions of most parts to select from. Some of the parts are micro small and hard to pop in.
Botany bay is very small (about 3 inches) and looks like one of those little toys you get out of a * jack box.

The parts and decals speak to the obsessive detailist while the soso fit speaks of one happy with anything thats in the ballpark

The only 2 minor gripes i have is the saucer secttion sometimes does not go together full and requires trimming excess plastic with an xacto knife and sometimes the naucelle fitment can be tricky

Like with previous polar lightsround 2 kits i glued mine together none of this snaptight nonsense the kit just isnt well engineered enough to bother and i spent lots of time with squadron gap filler putty to seal her up tight as a drum before painting her with primer and then the base light ghost gray hull color

My one change is getting rid of the ball socket joint and the ugly plastic post for the botany bay

I replaced that with a vertical metal post mounted in a separate wood base that was then painted with black lacquer paint to match the enterprises base

The molded plastic color is way off and should just be painted over

One thing i noticed and i took the time to order after market decals is that the decals are not quite as good as they used to be accuracywise
