Quality

However, paired with the chest strap, you have an amazing product.

Positive Review

It also works well with the h10 chest strap.

Positive Review

The image quality is good, however the screen face is glass effect, much like an ipad, so in bright sunlight there can be reflective glare.

Neutral Review

Syncing with the app so far has been perfect.

Only downside is that the sleep tracking is not very accurate and doesn’t always recognise when you nod off.

I don’t think the hr sensor in the actual watch is accurate sinai purchased the polar h10 chest strap to go with it and it works a treat.

Hard to say if it's accurate or not, but the app is well designed and i enjoy the data.

Only disappointment is with the gps accuracy it’s pretty useless for recording my 5k runs always over half a km out.

When i tried fitbit and whoop in particular, i really struggled to get on board with them due to their reliance with wrist based heart rate readings which are so inaccurate when you are doing high intensity sessions (hiit, conditioning, even traditional strength work), meaning the insights you get from them based on the hr data are just not very helpful.

The polar ignite fails in the same way if you just use the wrist based heart rate reader - i have tested it many times and it does not capture the correct hr on runs and hiit sessions, leaving the calorie and other metrics skewed.

In terms of running, don’t buy this if your goals are just around running.

Apple heath - finally an app that syncs well with apple health.
