Pros

The first toy that really brought out independent play at our house, and they’re so open ended. This is a set that will grow with your child from age 3 to 10 plus. My granddaughter plays with them every day and they have held up very well.

The playmags magnets are visually about 1/4 bigger. They are just a smidge thicker than the magna-tiles. These mag blocks have a wide flat edge, and very strong magnets.

Playmags has larger/stronger magnets, and they’re cheaper. They are a bit pricier than some others but we feel we've gotten our money's worth from them already. And yet, even still, i confess i keep checking the playmags store to see if they come out ... Read More

I love that they don’t fall over with a gust of wind. Their isosceles triangles actually make perfect circles, unlike many other brands. I’m adding pics comparing the two.

We have one set of older of these, and the new ones are so much nicer. Also bought a set as a birthday gift for my niece. But they combine flawlessly to make a huge super set.
