I bought this item to help in doing long exposure shots as well as being able to get into the picture without scrambling when using the self timer on the camera

I would definately recommend this to anyone who wants a little more control of their camera especially if they use the self timer mode on their camera

I have a unit where the receiver stopped operating the shutter it still lit up the led like it was getting signals from the transmitter but it wouldnt open the shutter

Either that or go with a wired product potentially though it seemed there was nothing wrong with the wireless
