Pros

Reel seems solid and it is pretty solid. Tried couple other cheapies before this one. Makes me wonder just how much the name on the more expensive branded reels is costing.

This is the smoothest, quietest reel i have seen in a long time. Silky smooth and refined feel.

Top-notch bait casting rod and reel. Great entry level bait caster. Once set up, it puts your bait exactly where you want it.

Pull the line taut so the knot tightens around the spool. Reeling is smooth and tension knob and drag work just fine.

This is my first one i ever owned, and learning from it took time. The kid loves it. And especially beginners. I'm a complete beginner to fishing.

Cons

Reel feels light and cheap out of the box. Only way to get it not to overspool is to lock down all the brakes. The magnetic brake is useless.

I would say you cant go wrong with this reel and the price i paid along with 300 yds of 20 lb

The reel does feel clunkier than other baitcast reels i have lews speed spools abu garcia black and silver maxx but it works fine
