Pros

The pioneer now comes with a full-size cardboard template for locating the inside unit's mounting posi-tion, which is a big help. Where this really shines is how unbelievably quiet it is. Both inside and outside units are very very quiet.

Kudos to highseer for their prompt and courteous service. The company is in tampa and my two calls to customer service were answered quickly. This a great deal and well respected by me.

The ac function works great and keeps a steady cool temp. And install a 2 pole 20amp breaker with wiring.

Cons

A/c freezes me out of house no matter what temp i set it on. Copper lines carrying refrigerant have corroded, causing the refrigerant to leak out. Worked great for about 3 months and then stopped cooling.

Hvac technician told me that his service call business has become primarily the servicing and replacement of cheap online units like these. Warranty is useless. What is my recourse currently.

Buy at your own risk. Very disappointed.
