Pros & Cons
Pros

I want to be sure that these are very durable and safe. They are compact and lightweight. Not so heavy as to become an annoyance.
Using these poles has also alleviated my knee pain while hiking. There’s a shock absorption system in trekking poles that does come in handy during long hikes. Used my poles last week to hike 5 miles on a rocky terrain.
The handle has a petrol odor, but it doesn't bother me. The grips are ergonomic and comfortable. Hand straps fit easily, well, and don't slip during use.
Cons
The odor (chemical/petroleum smell) is horrible. I would get nauseated. The handle and strap have horrible chemical smell that does not go away.
