Quality

Ink is of superior quality as well.

Positive Review

Great color like the pelikan blue-black i have used for years, but even smoother flow from most nibs.

Positive Review

Aside from that if you like the color you will appreciate the quality of the ink.

Neutral Review

However, be sure to use quality paper when writing.

Neutral Review

Price

The price is higher than standard inks but performs well enough to justify the difference.

Positive Review

Packaging/appearance

Iroshizuku inks always seem so special--the packaging helps for sure.

Positive Review

Competitiveness

Add to that the excellent characteristics of performance that all iroshizuku inks have and you have a winner.

Positive Review

It's a kind of blue-black, and my favorite blue black to date.

Positive Review

This is a subdued blue; not quite a blue-black, more of a greyed blue i'd say.

Neutral Review

I like all iroshizuku inks, my preferred ones for ever.

Most positive reviewquestion

An outstanding blue ink for fountain pens!

Most authentic reviewquestion

I expected blue-gray to be fairly light. This ink is closer to blue-black. Fine otherwise, albeit a bit pricey.

Very decent ink, as all other iroshizuku inks, yet i find that i prefer the color tone of pelikan blue-black ink better, because it is more blue-ish.

Only edelstein tanzanite remotely comes close to matching this blue-black's wow factor.
