Pros & Cons

Pros

The stand is not nearly as sturdy as my manfretto with a westcott umbrella, but this entire kit cost less than one westcott. This makes the fabric very taught and may reduce it's life.

The stand and lever are very sturdy. Not the sturdiest there is, but it exceeded my expectations. The bits that clamp the flash are metal and the rest is good solid plastic. This stand is higher quality than my studio lighting kit.

Good product for a beginner like myself. Will allow me to become more proficient with an off camera flash. The head is good quality and the head is so tight i was worried about stripping the interlocking teeth, but loosened it enough to work with.

Cons

Not an actual photographer, so this isn't an expert opinion, but this particular stand/ setup is pretty cheap feeling. The build quality is dirt cheap as well. These are cheaply made.

The umbrellas and holder works fine however the stand is cheap and has too small of a footprint. A simple design flaw causes the umbrella to fall over. No wind at all.

As other reviews have pointed out it is clearly not the most durable kit you could purchase

I would definitely not recommend it for professional use and would be very careful with it outdoors due to the light weight

Pretty straightforward assembly but no directions

Fortunately there are good photos on the amazon website

The stand is very good quality and sturdy and the gold and silver umbrellas are well made but bend easily if handled to hard or tipped over so not recommended for outdoor use unless you have weight bags to hold the stand down

Other than that it does its job

The tubes that make the handle of the umbrellas is very thin
