    I dipped tubing ends in water and briefly ran a lighter over end and inserted parts, also before that i would 'stretch the tubing by using needle nose pliers or one of the stakes, sort of like one would stretch a balloon before blowing it up.

    I used the 2 way splitter, i t will not work with an old water hose unless you scrub the hose clean.

    My kit was missing two parts shown in description the threaded faucet connector and the universal one.

    I tried a 10 psi regulator and it didn't allow enough water to flow through the system.

    I suspect a 30 psi might be a better solution.
