Pros

The light output is excellent. They are super bright and what sold me on an led conversion in my workshop! If you care about the environment these are the bulbs.

My kitchen light fixture has 3 bulbs. Other fixtures with 48 bulbs are in the garage and laundry room. I have these in a couple of places and they are great replacements for fluorescent tubes, although a bit pricey.

Luckily the 8 pack replaces the exact amount of tubes in my kitchen. This 8 pack is a better value than the 2 packs if you need the quantity. They work well and they have no mercury!



Cons

It's annoying having to make trips to the ups store to return these constantly. Sadly, the bulbs are not replaceable.

The bulbs are not compatible with any particular ballast. I have other brands like cree led t12 tubes that work great with no modifications needed. The color is not too cool, which my elderly parent prefers. The lumen is 1800 lumens, a full third less...  Read More

Even though the price changes often its still worth the higher price that i paid for them


The price was the same but amazon had them in stock with quick delivery

Notice they are almost all negative due to shipping issues with broken bulbs not the actual functionality of the bulbs

Packaging/appearance


The packaging from amazon was pretty bad


They need to do a better job of packaging and shipping

Just put it into my t12 fixture and they lit right up a little brighter than my 40w tubes


The lamp on the left is an led lamp of 5500k temperature for comparison

    At the second location i installed two replacement lamps that worked then went to another fixture with tubes from package 2 of 2 and when i installed it without checking the ballasts in either case i burned out the tube

    It went from bright for a couple of seconds to very low output
