It performs as advertised and have had no trouble with the unit
So far does what it is supposed to ive had no issues at all but it does seem a bit cheapish in quality in feel and use
I have not seen any issues with the variac it is not even warm to the touch
Build quality is ok to questionable ill be reading some of the other reviews to see if theres anything i can do to improve this safety wise

I did some research and saw that the inline fans operate much better with a variac variable transformer
